QA Specialist

Your responsibilities include
- Write and execute automated test cases and report any found problems accordingly
- Create test scenarios to simulate different situations for the objects-under-test
- Actively participate in all phases of the product development life cycle
- Work closely with the development team and project management
- Be expected to help colleagues with less experience in their tasks as well as doing code reviews
- Create framework strategies and improvements on the approaches already in place
- Generate ideas and suggestions on how the automation testing can become more efficient
The ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate
- 2+ years of previous experience in testing of web-based software applications
- At least one of the years of experience needs to be in Automation testing
- Experience in analysing software specifications, designing, implementation and execution of test cases and procedures
- Experience with Cypress
- Experience in using Rest API, gRPC API, git
- Experience with Jira/Youtrack and continuous integration
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with test case management tool
The ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate
- At least 1 year of software testing experience including end-to-end testing of web applications
- Experience in creating comprehensive test cases
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Organized and effective personal time management
Considered as an advantage
- Experience with CI/CD
- Knowledge and interests in sports and sports data
- Experience with VueJS
- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG standards)
